Kodak is making the bold boast that choosing its printing products over those of competitors can save consumers an average of £75 a year.

Apparently in 2008 Brits spent £600 million on printer ink, a figure thought to have grown with the increase of people working from home.

Enrico Bradamante, head of Kodak’s Inkjet Printer division says: “Many consumers have been lured by offers of cheap printers, but, more often than not these come with the burden of having to spend more on the replacement ink cartridges than the printer cost in the first place".

To help calculate exactly how much consumers could save on ink (by switching to all-in-one printer with low cost ink) Kodak has set up www.printandprosper.com.

There are over 130 printers and savings are listed including brands such as Epson, Lexmark, Canon, HP and Brother.
