Championship Manager coming to iPhone

Football stats game to play on the go

iPhone users could be about to be sucked into a football vortex never to be seen again, following the news that Championship Manager is being developed for the iconic Apple handset.

According to The Times, the game, which is awaiting approval from Apple at the moment, will hit the App store shortly, giving footie fans a chance to play out their manager fantasies on the go.

The Times' source says that "The iPhone version will come complete with all the usual stats and managerial headaches, with a 2D match engine".

No word on pricing or availability at the moment.
