ProPrompter app launches for iPhone

Seriously niche teleprompting app available now

16 April 2009 15:27 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

After apparently being "swamped" with requests, teleprompter company Bodeline has launched an iPhone application.

The app lets iPhone or iPod touch owners - with the necessary kit - use their Apple device as an on-the-go teleprompter and follows a version available for Windows Mobile devices.

The app offers landscape mode, smooth scrolling, and seven speed levels with on the fly adjustment, an "unlimited" script upload capacity, and different fonts, sizes and background colours.

The software is due to be available as a free download in the Apple App Store this month while the aluminium ProPrompter tripod wing mount that fits the iPhone costs $130.
