Lite-On has announced a new sub-brand and debut product with the launch of the Memoir FS80 scanning digital photo frame.
The Memoir FS80 claims to be the world's first to offer an integrated scanner to convert print photographs into digital files, stored on the frame's 1GB internal memory.
The built-in scanner can take prints up to 15 x 10cm and scans them at a resolution of 600dpi.
The scanned prints can be displayed on the 8-inch 800 x 600 pixel resolution screen, as well as transferred to a PC or USB drive.
The frame has a five-in-one card reader and supports Motion JPEG, MPEG1, MPEG4 as well as MP3 files.
Priced at around £178, the Memoir FS80 will be available from the end of April.
