Digital Audio Distribution, the UK exclusive distributor of Cowon portable media players, has announced the Cowon D2+ portable media player is to go on sale in the UK.

As the name might suggest, the D2+ is the latest incarnation of the Cowon D2, complete with a revamped UI and "BBE+ Sound" that claims to restore the clarity and definition of digital music.

The player offers a 2.5-inch LCD touchscreen and a memory card slot to expand the capacity up to 32GB with SDHC card support.

With a battery life of 52 hours for audio or 10 hours for video, there's MP3, OGG, WMA, FLAC, WAV and APE file support.

Available this week in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models, the D2+ will be available in both black and silver. Suggested pricing is £99, £129 and £159 respectively.
