There's good news for gadget-lovers travelling through Heathrow as the London airport has announced it has erected new "Power Poles".

Despite the dubious-sounding name, the "Poles" are in fact power hubs, 47 of which, will enable passengers to charge electronic devices free of charge.

The new Poles are sponsored by Samsung and are currently available in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and soon to be available in Terminal 4, each of the free Power Poles is able to charge up to eight electrical devices at one time.
