Sonos has updated its iPhone "Controller" application to version 2.8.1, which refreshes the previous software, launched back in October 2008.
In addition, the company has added support for the free Deezer internet radio service via the Sonos system's 2.8 software update.
Deezer Radio on Sonos offers instant, computer-free access to radio channels created from a library of millions of tracks by major and independent labels.
Other new features in the software update include the ability to set alarms to wake to music, set timers to turn off music automatically, playback of DRM-protected Microsoft WMA files as well as full support for iTunes' DRM-free AAC music.
The new Sonos Controller for iPhone is available today as a free download on the iTunes App Store.
