LeapFrog, manufacturer of educational kid-gadgets, has launched a gaming application for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Aimed at 6- to 10-year-olds, the aim is that parents will download the game for their children to play on their iProduct.

The "Number Rumble" maths game is said to be the first of several planned LeapFrog iPhone learning games.

Number Rumble lets users shake, tap and spin their way to "math equation expertise" via the touch UI.

The gaming app is available now for $2.99 from Apple's App Store in the US or for £1.79 in the UK.
