This time it's left to Lisa and her son Jackson to go into a Best Buy and pick out a PC for $1500.
The kid, keen for a good gaming machine with speed and a large hard drive, finds (surprise, surprise) the MacBook a little too small with mum suggesting that the Macs are "popular at this age" before putting the boot in with a "they are pretty" comment.
At the end of the 60-second commercial the two walk out of the store with a spec heavy Sony Vaio with a 16.4-inch screen and Blu-ray drive.
Interestingly for the third time in the series of adverts Windows Vista fails to get a mention or even a close up.
The adverts which have yet to come to the UK have caused huge debate within the Mac community as fanboys try their hardest to pick the advert to pieces.
Following the airing of the first advert in the series one Mac die-hard even offered to give "Lauren" the girl in the advert his own Mac over a nice cup of coffee. Hardware, Laptops, Microsoft, Advertising, Apple

Microsoft is continuing its ad campaign in the US, stepping up its fight against Apple with a new advert that once again criticises the Cupertino company's laptop range. This time it's left to Lisa and her son Jackson to go into a Best Buy and pick out a PC for $1500.
