It's still in the realms of the rumour mill with the odd spy shot appearing here and there, however the rumoured LG Viewty 2 (AKA the GC900) just got a rumoured release date and rumoured operator in the UK.According to three quarters shop one quarter mobile phone blog omio.com, the new 8-megapixel snapper from LG will get a Q2 release on Orange UK meaning the handset should, if the information turns out to be correct, appear before June.
Said to run on the S-Class interface as found on the new LG Arena, the Viewty 2 is reportedly to have a 3-inch full WVGA touchscreen, 32GB of memory, DivX and Xvid video playback capabilities.
Omio.com is also saying two further unannounced handsets appear on the Orange roadmap; the Samsung ‘Preston’ and LG GW520 ‘Calisto’.
Details are thin on the ground, however the Preston is expected to land in May while the Calisto is due in June.
LG has declined to the comment on the story.
