Toshiba Journe Album lands in Europe ahead of schedule...

7 April 2009 22:30 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Can't wait for the Toshiba Journe Album to come out later in the year? It seems you don't have to as a virtually identical model hits the market in the next couple of days.

Manufactured by Taiwanese company Vosonic Technology Corporation not Toshiba and called the Vosonic DPA4000 digital photo album rather than Toshiba Journe Album, the DPA4000 photo frame will come with 4GB of internal memory.

If that wasn't enough of a deja vu moment, the Vosonic sports the same 8-inch TFT LCD with anti-reflex coating, button layout, speaker vent and that leather case to give it a photo album feel.

Supposedly the battery offers you 2.5 hours of power on a single charge - enough to bore your friends.

Yours for £224, Toshiba has yet to set a price for its version.
