RIM is currently busy preparing a follow up to its BlackBerry Storm, the company's first touchscreen smartphone, to launch later this year."A source very close to the issue" has informed US blog SlashGear that the new device is due to launch on Verizon - so another Vodafone tie-in in the UK would seem likely.
One of the biggest complaints with the Storm - its lack of Wi-Fi - is said to be addressed with the mark two model getting the wireless connectivity.
Said to be "an even better pro-consumer device than the first Storm", the source has apparently suggested that the phone's "click" touchscreen would also be improved.
We will keep you posted. Phones, BlackBerry, RIM, Rumours, Wi-Fi, BlackBerry 2
