Yahoo Mobile has launched out of beta, following its debut at the Mobile World Congress event in February.

It's a personalised "mobile starting point to the Internet", available on both the mobile Web and as an Apple iPhone app.

Yahoo says it allows consumers "to discover, stay connected and stay informed through their mobile devices".

The app offers Yahoo search results, access to email and social network accounts as well as instant messaging, address book and calendar tools and content - such as websites, news and RSS feeds.

"Consumers around the globe are demanding compelling mobile Internet services that offer increased personalisation, and allow them to easily manage all the content they care about in one place on their phones", said Mitch Lazar, MD of Yahoo Mobile, Europe.

Yahoo! Mobile is now available across more than 300 models with HTML-enabled mobile browsers by visiting http://new.m.yahoo.com.

The Yahoo! Mobile iPhone app is now available in the Apple iPhone App Store.
