If you're thinking of upgrading from your old set top Freeview box then this could be the tech deal for you.

Bigpockets.co.uk is currently offering the Topfield TF5810 PVR for £199.99, though they are whacking a £5.99 "shipping" charge on top.

The device enables you to tune in to Freeview services like your old box, with the added feature of being able to record and playback content.

The twin tuners will enable you to record and view content in a variety of ways including recording two channels whilst watching another, watching two channels simultaneously using the picture in picture mode or record two channels whilst watching a previously made recording.

This recording is enhanced by the inclusion of an HDMI socket which will upscale content to 1080i, whilst the hefty 500GB hard drive will make sure that it's a while before you run out of storage space.

There is a link below to take you through to the seller where you'll find a full spec and we'll have another tech deal for you tomorrow.
