Improbable pics of the "MacBook mini" have hit the interweb, via Apple blog 9to5Mac from Russia.
The tiny new device is talked up in a recent Russian magazine article with lots of mocked up shots of the new hardware.
Apple has previously said it's not interested in the netbook market, describing such offerings as "inferior".
That however has not stopped fans hoping for a cheaper, Apple-flavoured entry into the mini notebook arena.
This particular concept/mock-up/leak/early April fool gives the MacBook mini a 10.4-inch LED backlit display, an Atom processor, an SSD, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
We will keep you posted.
