Nokia issues software update for 5800 XpressMusic
"A wide range of new features and improvements"

Nokia has announced the availability of a software update for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic that it says "further improve(s) the performance and adds new functionalities to the device".Improvements in the firmware are said to include a faster user interface and data download from the Internet, an improved email experience and a better search experience with in-device search.
In addition, there's now a "mobile dictionary" functionality with voice playback of words using text-to-speech technology and new camcorder features that sees the second camera get support for still image capture in addition to video calls and "burst mode" that lets users take multiple pictures one after another.
Finally, there's the an "application update" function that will let users check for available updates for applications and update them directly in the device.
The software update is immediately available for download on Nokia's software update website (http://www.nokia.com/softwareupdate) free of charge.
