Apple fanboys have a new date in their calendar to look forward to after Apple has announced the dates for its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco.

The conference will take place between the 8 - 12 June and expected topics include more details on the recently announced iPhone OS 3.0 and the company's new operating system Snow Leopard.

Apple has yet to say who will be giving the main keynote speech, however the dates coincide with the expected return of Apple's CEO Steve Jobs.

The 2008 Worldwide Developer Conference saw the launch of the iPhone 3G. Some commentators believe the company could launch a new version of the iPhone at the show this year.

We will keep you posted.
