With Bluetooth and wireless headsets often becoming the forefront of our attention these days, it's nice to see someone is keeping an eye on the corded headset as well.
GN Netcom has just announced the all-new Jabra BIZ 2400, claiming a number of industry firsts. These include a noise-cancelling boom arm with FreeSpin 360 degree rotation to prevent breakage, patented wearing styles and even Bluetooth connectivity in certain models, so users can switch between fixed phone and mobile phone calls.
The headset is available in either mono or duo speaker configuration and promises an "unprecedented" level of comfort for all-day use thanks to three different "Flex-fit" wearing styles.
It also features Peakstop technology to protect users' hearing from harmful loud noises and gold-plated contacts that are five times thicker than other headsets to ensure optimum voice transmission.
The Jabra BIZ 2440 headset will be available in May this year, at a price to be announced. For more information, head over to the Jabra website.
