The Orange Film Studios premiers its first new release...

At last, the movie event of the year! The ‘re-envisioning’ of Hollywood classics by the newly formed ‘Orange Film Studios’.

You might remember Dresden and Elliott, the guys behind it: they started out as the Orange Film Funding Board and you’ll have seen them in cinemas over the past couple of years, reducing a procession of Hollywood A-listers to mumbling wrecks as they pitched their movie ideas. Angelica Huston, Rob Lowe and Snoop Dogg all got the award-winning treatment.

This is, of course, the new “Gold Spot” campaign from Orange, designed to remind people to turn off their phones before a movie starts.

The teaser campaign has been up and running for a while, but the ads themselves hit the big screen tonight. If you’re off to the movies this weekend, keep an eye out for them – they’re worth arriving early for.
