Something we brought you news of from Macworld in January, Carl Zeiss has now announced the launch of the "Cinemizer Plus", a set of video goggs for iPods and iPhones.
The first video eyewear to get a "Works with iPhone" tick, the Cinemizer Plus comes with clips to fit both versions of the iPhone, or any video capable iPod.
As with other such offerings, it then plays back any video content you have through the video headset. The image will appear as a virtual 45-inch screen, as viewed from 6 feet away.
The built-in battery is said to be good for up to 4 hours while the gadget's LCD screens with individual diopter focus adjustment means even if the user wears glasses the screen image can be focused for "crystal-clear" viewing.
The Cinemizer Plus will be available in the USA, UK and Germany from May 2009 for £399 or $449.
