Kitchen Aid Sink washes the dishes for you

Draining board has hidden secret

24 March 2009 11:53 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Finding space for the under counter plate cleaner, that would be a dishwasher to you and me, can be hard in the tiny kitchens we all have here in the UK

The answer? A dishwasher that secretly hides itself in your draining board according to kitchen gadget company Kitchen Aid.

For £1500, you get a discrete integrated in-sink dishwasher for washing pots, utensils and plates in just 30 minutes according to its makers.

Hidden under the draining board there is enough space for five place settings so that romantic dinner for two doesn't see you cleaning up for hours afterwards.

With five programmes, and the ability to remove the dishwasher rack so you can use it as a second sink this should help you save valuable space in the kitchen leaving you plenty of space for other gadgets.
