If you can't wait for LG's touch watch phone, or even Hyundai's MB-910, then IWOOT has got an alternative ready for you right now.The etailer is offering the "sWap" mobile phone watch currently in stock and selling for £249.
With a 1.5-inch TFT screen the watch can make and accept calls via the hands-free kit or Bluetooth headset - once you've added your own SIM - and offers multimedia capabilities too as the device can playback MP3, MIDI, WAV, AAC and MP4 files.
The wrist-based gadget can also receive SMS and MMS messages, displays recent and missed calls and can store up to 300 contacts.
The sWap has a microSD card slot that expands the 512MB memory up to 2GB and offers a touchscreen interface with the included stylus that's built in to the watch strap.
On the watch side of things, the sWap offers a number of different faces stored in its memory and there's an alarm function too.
There's also functionality for recording audio and the watch boasts a "craftily concealed" 1.3-megapixel camera for pics and video.
Battery-wise you're looking at a rechargeable effort that offers 100 hours standby and talk time of up to 180 mins. Phones, Watches, Mobile phones, Gadgets, IWOOT
