Apple prepping big OLED launches?

Reports see OLED iPhone, monitors, notebooks and more

Apple is prepping a whole range of products with OLED displays, reports are suggesting.

As well as new OLED notebooks, new OLED monitors, an OLED iPod touch, an OLED iPhone and even "a wafer thin OLED screen that will link with a wireless content device similar to the current Apple TV box" are said to be incoming.

The rumours supposedly come from sources at LG in Korea. Last year Apple signed a $500 million deal with LG for the supply of displays until 2013.

The new reports suggest that agreement included LG developing new OLED-based tech for the American company. LG is said to be working on creating a type of OLED screen that does not get smudged with fingerprints.
