USB-powered fan for cool thighs

Logitech is offering another peripheral to stop your lap getting too hot when using your notebook with the announcement of the N100 cooling pad.

With 60% of laptop owners using them on the "couch", Logitech's N100 is designed to make laptop use in such an "unstructured" space more comfortable.

The cooling pad N100 claims to improve airflow around your notebook with its slotted surface, which lets the USB-powered fan distribute air "quietly and evenly".

Logitech says the enclosed, durable construction protects the internal fan from dust and damage.

The Logitech cooling pad N100 is expected to be available in Europe beginning in July for a suggested retail price of £24.99.
