We have a Blu-ray player for the Pocket-lint Daily Tech Deal today.The Sony BDP-S350 is available from Play.com for £179.99 with free delivery and a copy of Bond flick "Quantum of Solace" to sweeten the deal.
The player itself delivers HD 1080p, 24p True Cinema output and pending a firmware update will give you BD Live.
The sound quality should be decent delivering up to 7.1 channels of surround sound with "audio that is indistinguishable from the original studio version".
It also works as an upscaler for your DVDs as well as a CD player, and although profile is 1.1 this is upgradeable to 2.0 via Ethernet.
