Sony to launch PSP comic service?

Video sent with PSP surveys drops the hint

It seems Sony is planning to add downloadable comics to its offering on the PlayStation store.

Apparently "thousands of comics" will be available as digital downloads direct to the PSP, including "rare classics".

A video sent to recipients of a survey described the service in order to help determine a pricing scheme. It's still unclear if the service would see a subscription fee or a price-per-comic scheme.

This video also detailed a new feature called "Auto Flow", a new way to read comics on your PSP that will allow the page to be displayed the way the artist "originally intended".

Should the service be launched, it won't be the first time we've seen comics on the PlayStation store. However with just one digital comic currently available to purchase for the PSP, comic fans will certainly be in for a treat if the service gets the go ahead.
