Virgin Mobile has announced it is the first network in the UK to offer the Nokia E63 on a pay as you go basis.

The Nokia E63, the first 3G QWERTY handset available on Virgin, will offer "unlimited" (not unlimited - actually limited to 25MB of data a day) 3G internet access for 30p a day.

In addition, there's free mobile instant messenger for 6 months on Nokia's "affordable" Eseries device.

With an easy set up guide, Virgin claims the E63 makes accessing your e-mail services like Gmail, Hotmail (from April) and Yahoo mail simpler than ever.

Other features of the Nokia E63 include a 2-megapixel camera, music player, FM radio, Wi-Fi and expandable memory.

The E63 is now available without a contract for £149.99, or on £18-a-month tariffs.
