Kevin Rose weighs in with iPhone 3.0 predictions

Digg founder says it will "match" the Pre

16 March 2009 10:58 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Apple is due to reveal the latest version of its iPhone operating system this week and Digg founder Kevin Rose has weighed in with what features he thinks the 3.0 update will bring.

Rose made the comments at the South by Southwest event, notable as he has a history of commenting on Apple launches, and has been correct in the past.

Rose predicts that copy and paste functionality is coming, but video capture and MMS messaging will still not be included in the new firmware.

In a Diggnation broadcast, Rose also said that iPhone 3.0 will "match the Palm Pre", but did not elaborate on quite how it will do so.

We will keep you posted.
