A Stateside publicity stunt, Samsung and operator Cricket have unveiled the world's largest working "cell" this week in downtown Chicago.

The gigantic handset is a working replica of a Samsung Messager phone and measures a huge 15 feet long, 13 feet high, and 3 feet deep.

All Chicagoans are currently being invited to use the enormous phone for free phone calls and texts, the later of which look like they might take some time to complete.
