Concept: Skrepkus paper clip

Makes holding paper a whole lot prettier

11 March 2009 11:00 GMT / By Verity Burns

For when a regular paper clip just won't do, behold the "Super Paper Clip" from Art Lebedev Studio - unfortunately re-named the rather less super "Skrepkus" in its final stages.

The designers behind it have taken a regular paper clip, added a bit more metal, a few more curves and a lot more thought to create a clip that holds more paper and looks a lot prettier as well.

Because of the extra curves, it means you can hold three different documents together while still keeping them separate, as well as the fact it will take you three times longer to unravel it while you're on the phone.

  • Skrepkus.. Skrepka - means paper clip on Russian and -us end just fits in with rest of Lebedev's love to Roman Empire. I wonder how much it's going to cost... Probably close to the price of the OLED Keyboard they designed. Posted by Alex, US
