"Touch Screen Rotary" phone revealed

Retro-cool with modern functionality

Look at this for a modern makeover. Designer Mark Miller has taken the old, rather inconvenient concept of the rotary dial telephone and added touch controls, caller ID and a whole load of blue backlighting to boot.

Miller plans to make the Touch Screen Rotary phone usable for both VoIP and landline calls, and for that added snazziness, proposes a highly polished shell with a frosted polycarbonate base that will glow every time a call comes in.

Retro-cool with modern functionality. That sounds like a good combination to us.
