Archos has introduced a "TV Snap-on" accessory for its Archos 5 internet media tablet. The accessory is specially designed for handheld reception and has two antennas and two DTT tuners for viewing and recording free digital TV in digital DVD quality while on the go.
Archos promises "extraordinary quality of reception and super sharp image quality" thanks to the "mobile diversity processing reception system", a patent-pending in-house tech.
As well as viewing and recording live TV, the aerial will also let users schedule recordings in advance with the integrated program scheduler.
The Archos TV Snap-on will be available from www.archos.com and in some shops from the end of March priced at around £79.99 or 79.99 euros. Home Cinema, Audio, PMPs, Archos, DVB-T
