The only way is up for this charity event

6 March 2009 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

When it comes to towering achievements, it's safe to say that racing a distance of 600ft probably doesn't cut it.

But if I told that it was 600ft straight upwards, that might change things.

Vertical Rush is a charity race up 38 floors of Tower 42, the old NatWest building, in the City of London.

The event is in aid of Shelter, the charity for the homeless, and takes place on 19 March.

So, there's plenty of time to work on your head for heights.
