fring has announced the launch of a new version of its "social community and communication service" for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

Particularly topical, considering the reported furore over the Nokia N97 getting the Skype VoIP app, the fring app will let 5800 owners talk and chat using Skype, GTalk, MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter, among others.

Press play for the YouTube video introduced by the perky Neal Fullman, internal communications director of the co, that gives a demo while the 5800 version can now be downloaded at www.fring.com.
