O2 not ruling out stocking Nokia N97

• Orange and o2 are morons. I used to work with o2 and have two phones with them, and have been with them since before they were even o2.
  
  I will leave immediately without a second thought if they don't stock the N97. The very same thing will happen to 10s of thousands of other customers, and then o2 will be kicking themselves.

• Ive been with o2 from when they were BT cellnet and i dont really want to change providers however i will have no choice but to move as the only phone i want is the N97 & and i understand it is to be released in June, i am already eligable for an upgrade but am holding off until the N97 is released, but my contract expires in july so if they dont stock it im off. • Like a few of you, I have been a customer of o2 since they were BT Cellnet and I am very disappointed to read that o2 may not stock the N97 due to it coming pre-loaded with Skype.
  
  I have changed providers only once, and had a really bad experience and couldn't get back to o2 quick enough.
  
  I am on o2's rolling contract right now and have been since last November 08 because I want the N97 and was prepared to wait for it.
  
  I'm not 100% happy to leave o2.. but if they decide not to stock the N97 then I will definately be looking at my choice's with other providers.

• I am with O2 and they are fantastic and really really want to stay with them but of all the handsets out there the N97 is the only one i really want. O2 seem to have put all their eggs in the basket with the iPhone. Not everyone likes the iPhone! I hope someone at O2 reads these comments as I will be leaving also if they don't stock the N97! • Our business will definitely leave them if they refuse to stock this phone. It's not like you can't put Skype capability on most phones they stock anyway. I don't see the big deal here. Posted by spike, UK
• i was gonna get get my first contract from being on payg , iphone is ok but expensive per month and poor camera, google phone is good value but the camera is a let down (and battery problems reported), so i wanted the n97, which has the lot, if it means leaving 02 so be it, plenty of other people want my money, is they are too stubborn to take it , i can live with the consequences. • I have been with 02 from it was BT Cellnet. I have been with them for 10 years nearly. My contract is now up. I rang them 3 weeks ago and they said that they were not stocking it when i said i would be leaving they said to call bk on my date for upgrading. So i called today and they said a possible date is 27th June. I will not hold my breath tho. I love 02 and i always use nokia phones,. Why would anyone not want a more upgraded phone than the one they have, I always want better in my phone and have the nokia N95 but dont want to get nokia N96 as it has been out for a wile but if 02 dont stock this phone im no longer a customer off 02 and yes i spend nearl and some times over £100 per month,

• Its probably good for customers that O2 might not take it. I got an iPhone 3G with O2 last August, which they made me buy into an 18 month contract at £35 a month (plus £7 on top a month for insurance) for a phone that has gone out of date within a year. I now have to pay £500+ if I want the new iPhone 3G S model. I'm probably going to end my contract and get this thing, it looks pretty awesome, Nokia usually make good stuff. • I was with 02 for the last 5 years, my upgrade was due last december but i was holding on thinking that they will release n97 but have just found out that they wont be stocking it so i rang them up straightaway and ordered my pac code. o2 is losing its loyal customers big time.
