Sony clone "VAINO" netbook spotted

Vaio P copy-cat

Sony clone

Sony's Vaio P, the company's expensive not-a-netbook, is the latest victim of cloning from Far Eastern copy-cat manufacturers.

The "VAINO", pictured below, is clearly an attempt to emulate the slimline portable PC, but aside from the similarity with the logo, fails to match Sony's specs.

The VAINO offers a 10.2-inch display - compared to the P's 8-inches and gets otherwise fairly standard netbook specs, aside from that interesting looking OS, of course.
