LeapFrog launches Advanced Baby Monitor
With a 600 metre range

LeapFrog has announced the launch of its "Advanced Baby Monitor".
Letting parents wander as far away as 600 metres from their sleeping offspring, LeapFrog promises clear sound, thanks in part to the use of digital technology that the company says also stops others from picking up your signal.
As well as that 600 metre range (how far is your nearest pub?) the Advance unit comes with a parent talkback facility to sooth a crying baby ("there, there, I've nearly finished my pint") integrated room temperature, and a selection of lullabies.
The rechargeable parent's unit has a built-in torch with the ability to remotely control the night light, a digital clock and feed timer.
Other features include a soft glow night light for baby, non-slip rubberised grip, and a "find parent unit" function, presumably for tracking down errant other halves who've decided to take advantage of the long range.
Complete with travel bag, the Baby Monitor is on sale for £49.99 with the Advanced Baby Monitor available for £69.99.
