Daily Tech Deal: CPW trade-in calculator service

An interesting Daily Tech Deal for you today with an offering from the Carphone Warehouse.

Called the "Trade-in Calculator" service it is aimed at making it easier for consumers to upgrade their old mobile phones in light of the credit crunch.

Using the new calculator service customers can find out the value of their old phone.

Carphone says that "2 million people in the UK are due an upgrade, which is an astonishing 10 million of potential cash unclaimed by customers".

So if you have an old phone rattling around in a draw or cupboard and are thinking of taking out a new contract, then you might want to check this out.
