Kodak launches EasyShare Z915

Kodak has announced the launch of the EasyShare Z915, a new compact that offers an image stabilised 10x optical zoom lens.

The 10-megapixel model has a 2.5-inch colour LCD display and is angled at families "on the go".

With what's said to be "fast click-to-capture performance", Kodak makes much of the camera's "Smart Capture" feature, which automatically detects the scene being shot and adjusts camera settings to capture the best image possible.

Smart Capture also automatically applies Kodak's "Perfect Touch" processing to enhance highlight and shadow areas.

Powered by AA batteries and compatible with SDHC/SD memory cards, the Z915 will be available in red, blue, black and grey for £179.99 from May 2009.
