Apple event rumoured for 24 March

Apple blogs are reporting that Apple is due to hold a special launch event on Tuesday 24 March.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet by the Cupertino-based company, the news is said to come from several different sources.

The event is thought to be a hardware-focused one with Mac launches to include the much-rumoured new Mac Mini, new iMacs, and updated Mac Pros.

In addition, MyAppleGuide is hinting at a "pleasant surprise" to be revealed at the as-yet unconfirmed gathering.
