Asus has announced the launch of a "new and improved" model in the Eee Box range, the Eee Box 206.
Asus says the Eee Box 206 model is able to deliver "crisp and fluid" high definition pictures straight out of the box.
Thanks to a graphics card with a high definition hardware video decoder, the video quality is said to be "vastly improved" while an HDMI output is now built into the rear I/O panel.
The Eee Box 206 comes pre-installed with the "Eee Cinema", described as a fully featured media player as well as with a remote control.
Said to be as small and green as previous models, the 206 also offers Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth and 10GB of online storage.
The Eee Box 206 model is available now in black and white with pattern design for a suggested price of £309.99.
