Tomb Raider DLC now available on Xbox Live

24 February 2009 20:34 GMT / By Verity Burns

After a short delay Beneath the Ashes, the first downloadable episode for Tomb Raider: Underworld, is now available from Xbox Live.

The DLC was supposed to be available from 10 February, but was delayed due to an unspecified "technical issue".

Beneath the Ashes sees Lara back in the remains of the Croft Manor, where she finds a series of never-before-seen caverns and crypts to explore that were once used by her father to protect and hide a "deadly source of power".

The episode will cost 800 Microsoft Points, and will also contain six new costumes and deliver an additional 125 achievement points.

The second pack, Lara’s Shadow will follow in March, but no details have been released as to what we can expect from it as yet. We'll keep you updated.

  • If you have played Beneath the Ashes, you will know what the story line is in Lara's Shadow. Beneath the Ashes is an amazing addition, and the two DLC levels are connected together and the whole story! Posted by Aaron, England
