Konami Mobile has released a video that gives us a sneak peak into some of the gameplay we can expect from Metal Gear Solid's debut on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Metal Gear Solid Touch covers the final chapter in the saga of Solid Snake, and will see players joining forces with Old Snake to battle the mercenaries of a number of private military companies.

This will see players following Old Snake across the Middle East, South America, Eastern Europe, and Shadow Moses across 20 levels of gameplay.

Konami has said we can expect to see some well-known antagonists from past Metal Gear Solid titles as well.

Metal Gear Solid Touch will be available in a special "Advance Edition" in the spring, and will feature the first 12 levels of the game.

The final release will follow with the eight remaining stages of gameplay, and will be available to existing players via a free update on the Apple App Store - although it's not known when we can expect this.

Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think. Will you be buying it?
