Gameloft announces 20 games for Android Market

Gameloft has announced a line-up of 20 games for Android-powered devices such as the T-mobile G1 and the coming soon HTC Magic.

Through the Android Market application store Gameloft will offers its new wave of "mega-games" that the developer says will offer superior graphics and gameplay capabilities.

The offerings range from Derek Jeter Pro Baseball 2009 to Oregon Trail and CSI: Miami. Other titles include Bubble Bash, Platinum Sudoku, 1 versus 100, Million Dollar Poker feat. Gus Hansen, Midnight Bowling 2, Brain Challenge, The Settlers, Midnight Hold'Em Poker, Gangstar 2: Crime City, Dogz 2, Midnight Pool 2, Block Breaker Deluxe 2 and Real Football Manager 2009.

"With digital distribution being the platform of the future, Android Market continues the momentum by providing new channels for consumers to find, buy and download games", said Gonzague de Vallois, senior vice president, publishing, Gameloft.

"We believe in the potential of Android Market, both in terms of content and accessibility. We will continue to support this platform any way we can".
