If there is anyone out there wanting to make the shift from snapping away with a compact to taking their photography a bit more seriously then the Daily Tech Deal might just be able to help.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 digital camera is a snip at £238 from Amazon.co.uk, seeing a nice price drop since Pocket-lint reviewed it in December '08.
This prosumer effort was rated highly at the time - getting a 9/10 Hot Product Award - so we thought it was worth a mention.
The device offers a 10.1-megapixel sensor, 18x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD display, whilst delving deeper into its specs shows a Leica 27-486mm lens and HD video capture.
