PHOTOS: Windows Mobile 6.5

Microsoft announced Windows Mobile 6.5 on Monday at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The refreshed operating system carries all the hallmarks of former versions, but has now been redesigned to include a honeycomb interface, taking inspiration from the company's Zune MP3 player and optimised for the touch of a finger rather than frantic stylus poking.

So here is the new operating system running on the newly announced HTC Touch Diamond2. Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, whilst on stage with Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, stated that those who purchased the new HTC Touch Diamond2 would be entitled to a free upgrade to 6.5.
