Hyundai's "chico" phone revealed

MWC 2009: Feature-lite for the old skool user

19 February 2009 9:59 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Hyundai, due to launch its range of phones in the UK market this year, has unveiled the MB-105 "chico" at Mobile World Congress.

The calculator-esque, low-end effort is a dualband 900/1800MHz handset with a 1.2-inch monochrome display.

The feature list comprises of SMS capabilities, an alarm, 500-entry phonebook and a bundled headset.

Presumably aimed at the old skool crowd looking for a dead-simple blower, we're told the "chico" name will be dropped when it hits the UK market later this year.
