Canon has launched the PowerShot SX200 IS, describing it as a "new Super Zoom model in a strikingly compact body".With a wide-angle (28mm) 12x optical zoom lens, powered by Canon's DIGIC 4 processor, this 12.1-megapixel camera is angled as the ideal travel companion.
The compact offers a 3-inch LCD display and can also capture movies in 30fps 720p and comes complete with built-in HDMI connection.
Tech includes image stabiliser, smart auto mode and easy mode with scene detection, face and blink detection and motion detection.
With an aluminium body available in black, blue or red the PowerShot SX200 IS will be available from March 2009 priced at £359.00/429.00 euros. Cameras, Compact cameras, Canon, Digital cameras, 12 megapixels
