Samsung announces "affordable" ES15 compact camera

10-megapixel snapper for £79

Samsung has added the ES15 camera to its E Series range, apparently offering "all the technology today's picture takers need, but at an affordable price".

The 10-megapixel ES15 features a 3x optical zoom, face detection technology and digital image stabilisation to prevent blur.

It also features the in-built beauty shot mode that automatically retouches faces for a brighter, smoother skin tone.

The ES15 is due to be released in April and will cost just £79. It will be available in a range of colours, including candy pink, silver, white and dark grey.
