Fujifilm has announced the FinePix Z33WP, which the company describes as a "little camera that likes a lot of action".Designed for adrenaline junkies and outdoor types, the Z33WP is waterproof to depths of up to 3 metres, and features big, rubber-like buttons for easy capture of all the big action shots.
Boasting 10 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom and 2-7-inch screen, the Z33WP packs rather a lot of features into its 20mm shell.
Picture stabilisation and face detection technology (with red eye removal) help to get clear, in-focus shots, with high sensitivity up to 1600 ISO for those low-light condition snaps.
Also included on the Z33WP is scene recognition auto, a feature that automatically optimises the camera's settings for the picture you're taking, two self-timer modes that ensure you get everyone's face in the shot before the picture is taken, and movie recording with sound.
For those of you sharing your photos online on social networking sites, the Z33WP also has a "Blog mode" which is able to resize your snaps into cyber-friendly sizes, making it quicker to upload them.
The FinePix Z33WP will be available in five different colours to suit, including green, blue, black, gold and pink.
Pricing and availability is yet to be announced but we'll get details to you when we have them.
UPDATE: Fuji has said the camera will cost around £200 Cameras, Compact cameras, Waterproof cameras, Fujifilm, 10 megapixels
